The 1.0 Update


I feel like this has waited long enough. Here it is, the 1.0 Update! Despite a previous update being referred to as "1.5," I feel like this is the true 1.0, as this version feels so much more complete.

  •  Lots of typo fixes; spelling errors and weird grammar structures have been ironed out
  • Name tweaks for some Heralds to keep them in theme
  • Balanced and clarified some spells
  • Tweaked the FP formula
  • Fixed a major oversight in Stun
  • Minor retcon of the lore
  • Wrights redesigned
  • New Features for Dorinth Warrior and Worker
  • Fixed some weirdness regarding Unique Skills appearing in item descriptions
  • Lots of new art!
  • Things like Blindness and Temporary HP are defined
  • Drawbacks and Features tweaked
  • Lots of language around bonuses/penalties normalized
  • Timekeeping section cleaned up
  • New modifications and tweaks of older ones
  • Tonic Critical Fail table
  • Tonic Creation is more well-defined and explained
  • Position descriptions updated
  • Position Skill bonuses tweaked, some position have gained custom items
  • Tweaked how Burst Fire and Swift work (they now act the same and are simplified)
  • Full Energy Weapons list has been altered

Because of the amount of time this was taking, the Bestiary will be added soon! I really wanted to get all of these larger changes out there first and I also wanted the book to be in a usable format in case I need to do future edits; much of the delay came from me changing operating systems and trying to distance myself from Adobe products. As such, I had to take the entire InDesign project and manually port it to something in Scribus. Overall, I am very happy with how it turned out! Because of the amount of work I've poured into this game since July 20th, 2022, I have decided to increase the price of this game.

Anyway, be on the look out for the second part of this update, which will feature enemy stat blocks. That is a promise
